DESCRIPTION
Visakhapatnam is located in the southeast state of Andhra Pradesh, India between the Eastern Ghats and the coast of the Bay of Bengal and has a population of 2.3 million souls. It is the second-largest city on the east coast of India after Chennai, and the fourth largest city in South India. It is one of the four smart cities of Andhra Pradesh.
The church in Andhra Pradesh has a rich history of over 50 years and reaches to the most remote villages in the state. The school in Visakhapatnam was begun in 2008 when Samuel Raju Muppidi, who was already directing another school, saw the need and opportunity for a school to be established in the Visakhapatnam. Samuel’s son, John Dean, who is a graduate of Heritage Christian University in Alabama, was selected as the school’s director and continues that great work to today. Bear Valley is happy to partner with these good people in the training of gospel preachers.

Bear Valley Bible Institute - Tirupati, India is an extension of Bear Valley Bible Institute under the oversight of the Bear Valley church of Christ in Denver, Colorado. Bear Valley Bible Institute - Tirupati began on June 1, 2019. The school is located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh State. The primary focus of the school is to train and equip young men to preach the gospel throughout India.
