Let’s give thanks to God for His mercies.
This is to report on areas regarding class and sub-activities, visit the land, personal campaign.
Arrivals & Purpose
We thank God for His traveling mercies for our brothers, Steven, and Mark Reynolds. It was Mark,s first to visit Ghana, West Africa, to check on the school, to impart his God-given knowledge, and to strengthen us in the faith. Steven visited to introduce the MLA style in research and writing and managing the school.
Brother Mark Visit to Adoagyiri Nsawam Church of Christ
We thank God that He exhorts us through brother Mark. We have edified with the true sayings and the leadership was happy. The leadership recommended that anytime he comes to Ghana, he must visit the church to edify it.
After the church service, Mark Reynolds, Steven, EO Larbi, and Sammy visited the school's new site to inspect the ongoing building project.
Class
Mark taught the Accra School (i.e. Southern Institute of Biblical Studies) for the first time in Ghana, WA. He treated 1, 2, and 3, John, as a short course with the students. Ten (10) men were present for the class and conducted an examination. We were all glad for the teachings and sharing with the students his knowledge in the Bible.
This followed our usual daily class activities, Monday to Friday for the teaching of the rest of the courses. The number of students who attended the class was Ten (10).
Meetings with Steven Ashcraft
A Meeting with All Directors and Instructors of Bear Valley Schools in Ghana
Brother Steven had a two-day meeting with all the Directors and the Instructors of all the Bear Valley Schools, nationwide to discuss important lessons and the progressive management of the school. It is the dream of this organization that better management structure and lessons are taught that we obtain good outcomes. The various school representatives were Tamale Institute of Biblical School, BVBI Takoradi, Nsawam, Accra, Koforidua, Sunyani, Kumasi, and Kasoa. Eighteen (18) men were present, amongst which 5 were directors, and the Coordinator, Kojo. Among some of the topics discussed were Research and Writing (in MLA Format), the school management structure, regularly Monthly and Quarterly Operating and Financial reports, tracking on the weekend students effective activities in their various localities as part of the academic requirement for grading.
There were other meetings that were carried on with the administration of the Accra School on the future of the school and campaigns.
Brother Mark also met with the Directors and instructors for a quite short time on motivation for the work of the Lord and the school.
Students Personal Campaigns
As part of the student’s activities, they have been organizing an evangelism activity to reach out to prospects around every weekend. They also visit the surrounding members of the localities which are helping in edifying the members. Our students are doing well in this regard.
Conclusion
The above activities were done successfully without any challenge. And we are grateful to the Lord our God.
May the Lord be blessed for the marvelous protection in these times of COVID.
