To God Be The Glory...

The Labor Day weekend each year is one of the most encouraging weekends in the Extension Program. Staff members from Denver and around the country all come together to focus on what has developed over the past year in each location where Bear Valley is able to partner in training preachers. The time shared together is uplifting, encouraging and informative as to developments throughout the world.

The weekend provides the elders of the congregation at Bear Valley, along with all the staff of the Bible Institute, an opportunity to see and hear what has occurred over the last twelve months. The reports were presented by each of the Extension staff members, along with information provided by the development staff and President of the Bible Institute in Denver.

The theme of the weekend was “The Mission of God.” The lessons looked at God’s mission from before the foundation of the world, as it was promised to Abraham, and as it was fulfilled in Christ today. We concluded on Sunday morning as a group in worship of God. There is something special about the blending of our voices in praise of God.

After returning Sunday afternoon, the reports from various schools around the world were waiting to be read and posted. It goes without saying, the reports have been incredible as a graduation took place, new students began their journey, souls were being saved, the church was edified, and new congregations of the Lord’s church were planted. The time taken to read through the reports will be encouraging to you.

Now on to the other reports...
