“And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over the clean spirits. So they went out and preached that people should repent”(Mark 6:7,12 NKJV). When Jesus spent some times with His disciples, He felt it was necessary to send out the twelve. As they were going out he charged them with certain conditions. He also knew this was a great tool to help these men before He left to heaven. Disciples were sent out so that they could be very effective after the departure of Jesus Christ, thus He sent them out two by two. When the twelve came back, they brought a good report on what happened while they were out there.
That is the same thing happening here at the Andrew Connally School of Preaching. We started the program of sending out students to our area congregations. They are working with these local congregations and helping them in doing evangelism two Saturdays of the month and four Sundays of the month. They worship together with those same congregations. Two students were assigned to work and help at the Kwa Mrombo congregation. Within the time that they have been working there, they were able to establish 17 Bible classes and one baptism. Aurelian Mosha was baptized last week due to the effort made by our students. Among their classes there are those that are very close to obeying the truth and the church has set up a follow-up plan so that much can be accomplished during the time when they will be out of school.
All these and many other good things that are going on in the Lord’s Vineyard here in Tanzania are because of your love, prayers and support. THANK YOU SO MUCH for all that you do and mean in His Vineyard.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we are fighting the battle with the devil. Also, do not forget to pray for Josiah Gaines who is sick, so that this wonderful family may continue to serve here as they have planned.
