The Andrew Connally School of Preaching in Arusha, Tanzania is an extension of Bear Valley Bible Institute, and under the oversight of the Hoover church of Christ, near Birmingham, AL.
Cy Stafford began this school in 2001, and since that time it has been impacting the Lord's Kingdom all over East Africa. Students have come from at least 7 different nations to be trained here. Now our graduates are helping to operate several other schools of preaching, increasing the ripples of good coming from this mission point.

DESCRIPTION
The Bear Valley Bible Institute-Dar es Salaam, Tanzania school, located on the east coase of Tanzania, is a extended-model Bear Valley extension school. As an extension of Bear Valley Bible Institute, and under the oversight of the 70 West church of Christ, in Hot Springs, AR, the school in Dar es Salaam began in the late 2019. The school has two locations in Dar es Salaam: 1) Temeke Church of Christ, and 2) Mbagala Church of Christ. Both of those congregations have elders and deacons. The school is well positioned to make a huge difference in their area and have already started church-planting efforts in this city of almost 5 million people. The primary focus of the school is to train and equip men to preach the gospel. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also (2 Timothy 2:2).
