The lepers stumbled upon the Syrian camp, where they found tents, horses, donkeys, silver, good, and clothing.  Their first thought was to hide it, but then they told one another, “We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent” (2 Ki. 7:9a).  Bad news travels much faster than good news, it often seems.  Depending upon how we think, we may train our attention more to bad news than good news.  Yet, when it comes to the church of our Lord, there is much good news!  There is a mountain of work to do and so little time to do it, but in the church of the Christ we find ourselves in the greatest institution on earth.  This is good news, news to be shared!  While the church will always face struggles, opposition, and problems, there is so much that is right about it!  The chapters that make up this volume speak of that in great detail, and it will, we truly believe, uplift and encourage you while calling you to greater service.  We invite you to read and be challenged to focus on the many things that are right with the church.
