DESCRIPTION
The central Philippines province of Cebu is one of the most developed provinces in the Philippines with Metro Cebu being the second largest metropolitan area in the Philippines (after Metro Manila) and Cebu City as the main center of commerce, trade, education and industry in the Visayas. In a decade it has transformed into a global hub for shipping, furniture-making, tourism, business processing services, and heavy industry. Well over 3,000,000 souls reside in this region.
The church in Cebu proper and its surrounding islands is alive and active, but was lacking a formal way to train preachers in its region of the country. That is until May 2018, when Bear Valley Bible Institute Philippines began classes. Under the leadership of Director, Neil Emperado students complete one course per month, putting them on track to complete the entire Bear Valley curriculum in four years. Keith Kasarjian serves as the American Coordinator for this school.

Bear Valley Bible Institute Philippines - Northern Luzon
Northern Luzon, Philippines
DESCRIPTION
The Philippines is comprised of 7,000 islands, but the largest and most populous of them all is Luzon. It is home to the 8th largest city in the world (Manila) and nearly half of the population of the entire country.
Until January 2022, everyone who lived in the northern part of Luzon, who wanted to receive preacher training, had to leave family and job and head south. As one would imagine, this was a restriction most could not afford.
Bear Valley - Northern Luzon is training men to preach, where they live, without the dilemma of leaving home. Classes meet four Saturdays per month for 8 hours each time. The students are completing 12 courses per year and can finish the entire Bear Valley curriculum in as little as four years. The school is served by a capable Director and four outstanding Filipino instructors.
