Updates from Ukraine

Report for February–March 2025

Dear brothers and sisters,

We warmly greet you and sincerely thank you for your participation in the ministry!

Academic Process

In February and March, the following courses were taught:

• Oleg Fafanov (1–2 Peter, Judah),

• Volodymyr Paziy (Epistle to the Hebrews),

• I also taught the course “Personal Evangelism.”

Currently, students are undergoing their spring internship in local churches:

• Vadym – in Poltava,

• Maksym – in Bila Tserkva,

• Mykola – also in Poltava, but in another congregation.

Good News

We are happy to share that a new student will be joining us in the upcoming academic year. We pray that he remains committed to this decision and is able to fully engage in his studies.

Situation in the Country

Unfortunately, the political and military situation remains extremely difficult. The war continues, and Russia is carrying out daily attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. Despite these challenges, the Church remains steadfast in its mission, offering both spiritual and material support.

Gratitude and Prayer Requests

We are sincerely grateful to all the churches and partners who collaborate with us. Their dedication allows humanitarian aid to reach those in need, bringing hope and relief.

We ask for your prayers:

• For new students, that God may bring those who are ready to study and serve.

• For wisdom for preachers and ministers, so they may not only provide physical aid but also focus on spiritual support.

• For those receiving assistance, that they may see God’s love through these good works.

• For our brothers in America, who continue to support the BV Institute in Ukraine.

We thank the Lord for all we have and for you—our friends and fellow workers in God’s mission!

With respect,

Denys Sopelnyk
