Dear fellow soldiers of the cross,
Greetings from Nigeria and the Southwest School of Evangelism (SWSE), Ibadan and Lagos.
Our campus minister, brother Abraham Idu Yeje, taught at the campus church on Sunday, September 28, on “Remembering the Poor,” while one of our students, Nnamdi Blessing Eze, admonished the church from Ezekiel 33.
Brother Kayode Solomon Eniafe taught on “Admission into the Lord’s Church” at the Egbeda congregation and one of their prospects was baptized after the Sunday morning worship.
At the Onikokoro / Gbongudu congregation, Ibadan, I taught lesson three of the Great Commission which I tittle as “Saved to Serve.”
I taught on “A Call for Service” in the school’s morning devotion of September 30, and in Wednesday chapel on “Christian Service,” and on October 2, 2014, I taught on “Tackle Your Problems with Prayer” (1 Samuel 1:9-20; 1 Chronicle 4:9 & 10; Matthew 14:22-30; James 5:13-16) for a two hour special class on prayer between 5:00 am to 7:00 am. We used that medium to pray for peace in Nigeria and the world as a whole. We also pray for SWSE, Nigeria, and all our supporters, for God's blessing on all their undertaking and we remember all our graduates and the present students and the instructors in a two-hour prayer program before we resumed for class work at SWSE by 8:00 am.
Brethren, this coming Saturday is our evangelism program and we plan an open air lectureship at Ogunbunmi and Alaase villages via Jago due to the Muslim festival (Salah) that comes up on October 3 & 4 in our country.
This coming week is set aside for our first semester test before the students go for vocational training over the next four weeks between October 11 - November 7, when we shall resume, Lord's willing for second semester classes on November 10, 2014.
