Mission Groups Visit Paraguay...

Mission Group from Virginia
We had a mission group from Virginia come down and work with the church here in Paraguay. They worked on several service projects, visited the area orphanages, and helped develop new contacts through teaching English by using the Bible. We are very thankful for their humble, servant's attitude.

Bible School
The Special Committee for the Bible School has continued to meet regularly and to work on the development of the school. They have spent several weeks focusing on the mission statement of the school, and eventually arrived at the following (translated into English): "To nourish our brethren with the words of the faith and of the good doctrine, in brotherly love, so that they may be thoroughly equipped to fulfill the commandments of our Lord Jesus" - 1 Timothy 4:6 and Matthew 28:19-20. It is wonderful to see the way they are approaching and thinking about this! It shows great maturity on their part!

Service groups and Bible studies!
August brought many great activities and opportunities! We had a mission group come down from Virginia who completed several service projects. Andrea and I have been very active lately with lots of Bible studies (our favorite thing to do!), and we've had the opportunity to make a few more visits this past month. We continue to work on generating more contacts and are currently teaching several English students by using the Bible. What a tremendous blessing! We thank you so much for your love, support, and prayers! God is being glorified in Asunción, Paraguay! Enjoy!
