DESCRIPTION

Brazil is the sixth most populous country in the world and Belo Horizonte is its sixth largest city. This modern city of six million souls is aptly named (beautiful horizon) and is surprisingly “small” for such a big city. 

The church in this city has a good foundation, built largely on the efforts of American missionaries, some of whom invested more than 30 years there.  

The good work continues at the Downtown congregation, which is the host of this school. It is served by 7 elders and has a membership of 200. Its preacher, Alex Girodo, serves as the Director. This school is an "extended" school and meets every weekend throughout the year.
