DESCRIPTION

The Bear Valley Bible Institute in Kenema Sierra Leone is an extension of the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver, Colorado, U.S.A. It is located in the eastern commercial city of Sierra Leone- Kenema, at 48A Harding Street, Fornikoh. The school was established in 2016. Since its establishment, it has graduated two sets of students.

The primary focus of Kenema Bear Valley Bible Institute is to train men that will be able to share the gospel with lost souls. Evangelism is held in the highest esteem at the Kenema Bear Valley Bible Institute. Moreover, the school also trains potential church leaders that can lead local congregations to maturity. Furthermore, it is the focus of the Kenema Bear Valley Bible Institute to produce strong Christians that are impactful in society and the church. Because of the desire to train more people, the school started an extended program on the 15th of January, 2022. Therefore, there are two categories of students at the Kenema Bear Valley Bible Institute: full-time students and extended students who only take lectures on weekends.

The school is being directed by Peter Sahr Makundu who is also an instructor. The school has Michael Sahr Triyoh as the Academic Dean and Joseph Missailie Jr. as the Dean of Students. Other instructors take classes upon invitation. The Coordinator for the school is Steven Ashcraft.
