The current economic conditions in our country are causing real estate prices and especially rents to skyrocket. Denver has been particularly impacted, with rents jumping 21.95% from 2020 to 2021 alone. This rise in costs is particularly difficult for our prospective students with small families. While single young man can share space in an apartment, families cannot. Our student families spend almost $2000 per month in rent while our single student spend less than half that amount.

In order to open more doors for these families to recieve the training with us that they seek, we are establishing the STUDENT HOUSING Scholarship Fund. The goal of this fund is to allow us to provide a $500 per month housing subsidy for student families wanting to attend the Bear Valley Bible Institute in Denver.

Longer range solutions are being explored including the possibility of building or purchasing housing for our students, but in the meantime, we are asking our family, friends, alumni and Christians everywhere to help with this pressing need.
