Bear Valley Bible Institute Guinea

Gueckedou, Guinea

DESCRIPTION

To increase laborers in the work of the Lord, the Bear Valley Bible Institute International has created an extension school in Gueckedou, Guinea, West Africa. The school is located in the southeast of the country at the crossroads of the Liberian and Sierra Leonean borders. The school was established through the contact between Francis S Musa, a missionary of the church of Christ in Guinea, and Steven Ashcraft the coordinator for Bear Valley in West Africa.

Under the Coordination of Steven Ashcraft and the collaboration of the churches of Christ in Guinea with the Bear Valley Institute International, classes began on March 05, 2018, with the first batch of 20 students, following the opening ceremony organized on February 25, 2018.

This is a Christian Institution based on Biblical foundations, principles, and discipline. It provides doctrinal training in the light of the Christian faith and under the guidance of the Bible.

The purpose of the Institute is to promote biblical education to Christians in Guinea.

The mission of the Institute is to contribute to the improvement of biblical knowledge of Christians in Guinea so that they can fill leadership functions in the church.

The vision is to expand these Christian educational activities throughout the country by establishing new local congregations.

The Institute's moto is found in 2 Timothy 2:2 :

β€œand what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.” (2 Tim. 2:2 ESV)
