The Lord’s work continues to go forward in Tanzania and we express our deep gratitude toward our heavenly Father and his continued favor. We also thank God for your selfless partnership in this noble effort at reaching the lost throughout East Africa.
On Saturday, November 28th, the Andrew Connally School of Preaching graduated 15 men and sent them on their way into the fields of harvest. Please take time to pray for these brothers in Christ. They will be going back to do a difficult work in difficult places. Generally, they won’t be supported and will need to do some type of secular work to provide for their family and still dedicate the necessary time and effort into reaching the lost and preparing to preach. They face great challenges and are certainly in need of our petitions to the Father. This year's graduates are:
AMRI ALPHONCE LUBARATI
ASHERS I. MBASHA
DANIEL T. KARERA
ELIAS M. KWILASA
EMMANUEL BURTON
EMANUEL D. DAREMA
EMANUEL JOSEPHAT CHAMBIA
EZEKIEL MARKO LAIZER
JOSEPH JUMA WITHARE
LAIRUMBE N. LAIZER
ELIYA NDWALA KERETO
AGRAY DISMAS MANG’IRA
RENATUS ANTHONY NKHANGAA
SAMSONI NIKASI TARIMO
WINNY J. MAPUNDA
There are a number of plans in development for the future of the work in Tanzania and we are excited about sharing them with you…just not quite yet. Once we have the exciting news all dolled up and pretty, we will tell you all about it. Until then, we are busy planning and busting at the seams with excitement. Please pray that those involved in plans for the future will dream really big and have the vision necessary to do the best we can for the kingdom’s sake.
In addition to the extensive plans being made for Tanzania I am also privileged to be a able to work with planning for some of the other Bear Valley extension schools. Next week I will be in Denver in a concentrated planning session concerning the extension program. There are a lot of brethren involved in trying to train men to preach the gospel both here and throughout the world and we are grateful that there are so many talented and diverse people willing to do so. Please pray for those seeking to train preachers and those contemplating dedicating their life in service to God through the proclamation of His word.
Until next time, take care and God bless.
Yours in Christ,
Sean & Anita
P.S. I was sure disappointed that I couldn't personally be at this year's graduation. As a result I rely on others to share their pictures so I can share them with you. This is one of the blessings of social media. There are a number of Facebook pages containing pictures of the graduation and other events surrounding the work. Click on one of the following names to go their Facebook page and view some pictures and other good news about the work in Tanzania: Daniel Gaines, Cy Stafford, Charles Mwanga, Ahimidiwe Kimaro, Anna Maynard, Justin Maynard
