Beloved in Christ Jesus,
Greetings from staff and students of the Southwest School of Evangelism (SWSE), Ibadan and my fellow WBSFUW in the Western part of Nigeria.
We evangelized Kute town as scheduled with brother Sunday Samuel Adegoke and the Kute brethren on December 13 and 14, 2013. On December 14, the exercise, door-to-door evangelism commenced by 9:00 am through 3:00 pm while the public open-air Bible lectureship was between 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Brother Sunday Samuel Adegoke, the host minister and one of year 2004 graduates of SWSE-Ibadan spoke first on “Sin and Its Effects,” while I spoke on “Identificational Marks of the Lord's church.” The theme for the open-air Bible Lectureship was "You Shall Know the Truth".
On Sunday at the Onikokoro / Gbongudu congregation, Ibadan, I taught on "The Highway To Heaven,” Isaiah 35:8, while brother Destiny Elijah, one of the year one students of SWSE-Ibadan admonished the church from Ezekiel 14:6.
At the campus church, Butubutu village, brother Abraham Idu Yeje, the campus minister and one of the year 2 students of the school taught on “The N.T. Church” while brother Oladipupo Ishmael Alabi admonished the church on “The City of Refuge.”
On December 20 & 21 we (myself and a fellow WBSFUW) will evangelized Felele area of Ibadan with brother Dele Shotola and I will speak on “Escape For Your Life” during the evening open-air Bible Lectureship at Felele junction-Ibadan on December 2. On December 28, we shall participate actively at a day Bible Lectureship organized by brother Akinyoola Femi and the church at Obalende-Ibadan where I was assigned to speak on “Where Are You.”
Brethren, the SWSE-Ibadan and Lagos satellite campus recorded over 150 conversions and over 200 restorations this year (2013), plus 5 congregations planted in Oyo, Osun, Lagos and Ogun States. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
On behalf of myself and my family and the SWSE-Ibadan & Lagos satellite campus, we want to thank all our supporters for their wonderful contribution and partnership over the years. Sincerely speaking, without you, we could not have done all these!
You all live such a wonderful, generous and sacrificial life and you show great concern and love toward the saving of souls from eternal condemnation, not only in the USA but throughout the world.
It is not because you possess all the material things of this world, but because you care and you are dedicated for the cause of Master, Jesus, and you know you are working with a living God (1 Corinthians 3:9; 15:58). And in this year (2013), you have all extended your usual and fantastic kindness to me and fellow WBSFUW and the SWSE-Ibadan & Lagos campus through brother Joel Coppinger of WBSTC, brother Doug Wheeler, brother Steven Ashcraft and brother Bob Turner of Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver, CO, USA.
Brethren, I'm short of words, but I'm very very grateful for your brotherly kindness! May the Lord of blessing reward you all for your partnership and contribution toward this good work in Africa, Nigeria in particular.
We are truly grateful for what God has done through you for us in Nigeria! HAVE A BLESSED SEASON AND WONDERFUL NEW YEAR!
The SWSE-Ibadan main campus closed this afternoon to enable our staff and students to participate actively in the end of the year program at their respective congregations.
We (WBSFUW in Oyo State) will be working this evening through tomorrow evening with brother Dele Shotola and the church at Felele-Ibadan in a two day open-air Bible Lectureship and door-to-door evangelism on Saturday morning (December 21).
Brother Kayode Solomon Eniafe will be working this weekend with some evangelists to evangelize Osogbo town in Osun State while brother Ezekiel Okoh and the SWSE-students at the Lagos campus and some WBSFUW will be working this weekend and the next at the computer village in Ikeja-Lagos State.
Brother Paul Akinwale will return home from Ilaje River side preaching trip on December 24, 2013, Lord's willing.
Brethren,we deeply appreciate your partnership and brotherly love! May the Lord of blessing continue to bless all our joint efforts in Christ name, Amen.
Your fellow laborer in Christ Jesus,
Makinde Ebenezer Olufemi ( Director of Studies)
